Our Wedding is THIS YEAR!

Well the countdown is seriously on. We have now made it through our last round of holidays as an unmarried couple, and brought in the new year that will change our lives drastically. Life has been nothing short of absolutely amazing since we last talked! Over the break, we organized and took inventory of everything we have bought for the wedding, completed half of our silverware bundles, and made some final decisions on centerpieces. My wedding dress has finally arrived, and I have an appointment (third times a charm) for it to be altered next Sunday! Let's just hope this one doesn't get cancelled too! This is the third time it has been rescheduled thanks to this lovely weather! The bridesmaid dresses have been ordered, all flowers have been purchased for bouquets, the honeymoon has been booked, and the planning of three bridal showers and our bachelor/bachelorette parties are well underway!

We also enjoyed the adventure of our first registry which went surprisingly well! By the end of it, there were no thoughts that maybe marriage isn't the best option for us! Somehow we agreed on ALMOST everything we registered for! After spending 2 1/2 hours in Target, and walking nearly every aisle, we felt somewhat accomplished, but bummed because we had just shopped for 2 1/2 hours and walked out of the store empty handed!

In terms of the rest of our lives since we talked last, Ross did it! He graduated from Ball State and is now an old man living in the real world! :) He begins his maternity leave here shortly, and he couldn't be more excited! He has started preseason training for track, and is absolutely ecstatic about this coming season for Wapahani Track! He loves the school and the athletes, and they are going to do great things this year!

Ringo has been absolutely loving this month long blizzard, and nearly begs to stay outside. He thinks Ross and I are the worst parents in the world because we won't let him be outside 24/7 when it is -20 degrees! But he sure loves his play time, when he gets to bulldoze through huge snowdrifts and just flop all around!

I have officially started my student teaching at Longfellow, and I couldn't be more excited for the rest of the semester! I love my teacher, students, and just the school in general! I couldn't have asked for a better placement this semester!

Ross and I both have also began applying for teaching jobs for next school year, which is a very exciting yet scary process! Keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we face these big, yet awesome decisions!

The Braun Wedding Countdown is shrinking like crazy and we only have 111 short days before we are married!
